The “other church” is drawing crowds, growing, even stealing our people! We must do something!

Yes, we must… We must stop seeing that as bad, or even as important.

If all that is good comes from God, what is it to us? How can there be competition? What an absurd notion! Competition in God’s kingdom? May it never be!

Our focus, our heart, must always remain on Gods purpose for us. It’s a personal thing. What does He have planned for YOU. It never matters what others are doing… Does their success (or failure) somehow limit Gods plan for you? No!

Rejoice in increase! If we care where it occurs, we are not ready to experience it! God cares enough about each of us to never give more than our own humility can handle. His great love and wisdom ties success to humility, to save us from pride and the inevitable falling away that pride brings.

No, there is no competition in God’s kingdom. We are one, we are a body with many parts working in unison. That concept does not end at the walls of our church! Every Christian around the world is our brother or sister, working alongside us. God has a plan for each of us individually.

When we see others blessed, rejoice! Keep focused on our part, regardless how great or small it seems. There is no greater calling than what YOU can do for Christ today. Be at peace, whether you touch one or touch millions.

Rest in Gods plan, it is not about results… It is about peaceful obedience.
